Often referred to as the 'Pearl of the Indian Ocean', Sri Lanka is a stunningly beautiful island in the Indian Ocean, with an interior of dense tropical jungles framed by sandy golden beaches.

 

The teardrop-shaped island is made up of a mountainous landscape with more than a hundred picturesque waterfalls and innumerable hiking trails leading to breathtaking vistas like the famous World's End. Sri Lanka is also home to diverse wildlife, including leopards, monkeys, crocodiles, and many species of birds; it is most famous for its elephant population however, and tourists flock to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to get an up-close-and-personal experience with the majestic creatures.

   
  
Colombo 

A pretty metropolis sounds like a contradiction in terms, but it is a description that fits Colombo, Sri Lanka's largest city, a beehive of commotion with more than a million inhabitants.

Frenetic traffic fills the main Galle Road that runs through the city from the district of Fort, parallel with the coast, connecting all the suburban enclaves down to the town of Galle in the south. Fort is the historic centre of the city that has become the main business district, filled with shops, office blocks and government buildings. It is here that most of the gracious old buildings from the Dutch, Portuguese and British colonial eras are to be seen. East of Fort is the exciting Pettah bazaar district, where the streets are crammed with shops and stalls selling all manner of goods from vegetables to gemstones. Further south the city's seafront is known as Galle Face Green, where locals enjoy games of cricket, fly kites or take evening strolls watching the sunset. Beyond this lies

Day 1 : Arrival / Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage /Kandy

After arrival to Sri Lanka you will be greeted by our team representative.
Proceed from Airport to Kandy. 
En route visit the Elephant Sanctuary in Pinnawela, which was built in 1975 for rescued, injured or abused elephants and attracts visitors from all over the world to view these sumptuous animals.
Today has the largest herd in captivity in the world and offers us an opportunity to see elephants running in this natural environment. You will have a unique and intimate experience to caress and you feed the elephants with a small bottle of milk and appreciate the bond of union with their human foster parents called "eth gowwa", and enjoy the highest visual event of the day, the bath and experience that an elephant lover would never forget

Day 2 : Peradeniya Botanical Garden / Kandy City & Shopping Tour /Kandy Temple /Cultural Show

After breakfast, proceed to Peradeniya. This romantic piece of land, covering about 59 hectares, was established as the Royal Botanic Gardens in the year 1821
The gardens of Sri Lanka have a rich history. The beginnings of gardens date back to the 14th century. Peradeniya garden is famous for its rich collection of orchids, which should have been over 300 species.A major expansions of Botanic gardens, was in the 19 century. In the garden was first grown exotic fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea and rubber, which have all become very important products for the domestic economy.
On completion do a city tour of Kandy. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a World Heritage Site. The name "Kandy" conjures visions of splendour and magnificence.  Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive.  Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798.  Visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary.
Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. 
In the evening witness a “Cultural Show” where each of the energetic dances performed tells its own story to the sound of drums and flutes.

Day 3 : Tea Factory & Tea plantation visit /Colombo

After breakfast, proceed to Colombo.
En route visit Tea factory & tea plantations at the Giragama.
Sri Lanka is one of the world's largest exporters of tea, hence when venturing into the cool climes of the island one will be surrounded by acres of tea. Tea produced in Sri Lanka has become popularized as the world renowned brew that is known as ‘Ceylon Tea'.  A visit to the tea factory and plantations entails a crash course in plucking tea and a tour of the factory to view the process tea goes through.

Day 4 : Colombo City & Shopping Tour

After breakfast proceed with Colombo city & shopping tour.
Capital of Sri Lanka-Colombo - colorful metropolis, which are interspersed with traces of the colonial past and modern urban bustle. We'll see Buddhist temple, church Wolvendhal (monument of the reign of the Dutch), Hindu temple, town hall, Cinnamon Gardens - exclusive suburb of the capital where the beautiful villas pokolonialnych is home to several embassies and elite schools, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall ( BMICH) - a gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China and more. Also visit Dutch hospital shopping complex, Berry way, new parliament and ground.

Day 5 : Departure

After breakfast, leave you Colombo Airport with remarkable travel experience.

  • Entry Visa:
  • “Air Arabia Holidays” will provide the available information about the visa and it is the responsibility of the passenger to check the authenticity of the same directly with the concerned Embassy or Immigration. “Air Arabia Holidays” will not be held responsible for the passenger’s inability to leave the airport if he does not receive the necessary visa or if the passport is not valid enough to obtain visa upon arrival.
  • Hotel Accommodation:
  • Any complaints related to the respective hotel services with regards to location, rooms, food, cleaning or other services, the guest will have to directly deal with the hotel. “Air Arabia Holidays” will not be responsible for such complaints. The general hotel policy: Check –in time at 1400 hrs and check-out time1200 hrs Interconnecting /Adjoining rooms/any special requests are always subject to availability at the time of check –in and “Air Arabia Holidays” will not be responsible for any denial of such rooms to the customer.
  • Tours and Transfers:
  • A waiting time is 01 hour after the actual flight arrival time. After this time the vehicle may be released and service booked will not be guaranteed. If the passenger is unable to locate our local representative for any reason, it is his responsibility to call the number shown on the voucher for assistance, before making alternative arrangements , and “Air Arabia Holidays” will not be responsible in case if the passenger fails to call us. Maximum luggage allowance is 01 piece of medium size per person, hand luggage should be small enough to be carried on the car. Costs incurred for transferring extra luggage must be covered by the passenger.
  • Car Rental Policies:
  • Copy of passport and valid credit card needs to be submitted at the time of pickup of the vehicle. It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the vehicle for any damages or defects at the time of pick up and the same to be notified to the rental company. Air Arabia Holidays will not be held responsible for cases against any Traffic rules and deposit (credit card or cash) taken from the client by the supplier.
  • Cancelation Policy:
  • 01. A deposit is required prior to making a holidays reservation.
  • 02. The deposit is non-refundable if the client is cancelling or amending the reservation after the confirmation. The amount will be refunded in full if the requested reservation is not confirmed.
  • 03. Client is not entitled for refund of partially utilized service; however, Air Arabia Holidays shall negotiate with the concerned and try to get maximum refund in any, provided client makes the refund request to Air Arabia Holidays not later than 15 days following completion of the holiday with valid proof/document, failing which no claim may be brought against the company.
  • 04. For Apartment, cruise booking, guided tours and airport transfers no refund would be made (100% cancellation charge)
  • 05. Refund shall be subject to cancellation condition of the supplier of the services. In any case a maximum of 15% will be deducted from the amount of refund towards our chargers in addition to supplier chargers.
  • 06. Cancellation Policy will be applicable as per the booking date
  • 07. Air Arabia Holidays is not responsible for services not mentioned in the vouchers
  • 08. Air Arabia Holidays may alter or cancel the booking at any time necessary because of events beyond its control and will inform the client of any such event as soon as practicable and would offer the client an alternative service or refund as per client’s choice. The company will be under no future liability to the client whatsoever in such circumstances.
  • 09. Air Arabia will not be responsible for any refund after the cancellation deadline.
